Strategy

Gain national media coverage through feature articles, book reviews and interviews to create awareness of the authors and the book. Incorporate success stories and latest research. Initial media release and author bio’s were sent to initially relaunch the book. One media release per month was sent, plus media pitches on successful weight loss stories. Authors were put forward for expert comment.

Results

Over the six-month campaign 30 articles/book reviews appeared in print and online media. A full-page article was featured in body+soul, which significantly increased book sales. Online sales steadily increased and authors were called upon for comment and to write articles for several publications, raising their profiles.
