WorkPlan is the parent company for the collaborative LMS – WorkPlan Learning. WorkPlan Learning is a collaborative LMS designed and developed in Australia to unleash the biggest driver of growth, your people. The platform enables everyone to create and share knowledge across teams and with clients to exchange best practice, build skills, ask questions and provide feedback quickly.


WorkPlan first approached Outsource2Us in June of 2022, having had working with another Brisbane based marketing agency for some time, but struggling to get anything out of them.

WorkPlan was looking for an outsourced marketing solution, that enabled them to access the skills of multiple people as and when they needed it.


Outsource2Us were able to offer our plug-in marketing solution that gave WorkPlan access to the skills of the entire team but at an affordable rate.

Over the past 12 months, we have worked with WorkPlan across all facets of our business – Strategy, Marketing, Creative and Websites.

Our Process


As is the process with all new clients, when WorkPlan first came on board, we have a strategy session that helped us understand what marketing activities had been completed to date, ideal clients and target markets as well as discussion about bigger picture goals and objectives.

From there we were able to go away and create an extensive tactical marketing plan that outlined all of the proposed marketing activities for the coming six months. This marketing plan is what guides all marketing activities but is constantly reviewed and adapted to meet goals and KPIs. We continue to build on this original plan, as we move forward.


For WorkPlan, we provide a wide range of marketing services, which include Digital Advertising, Organic Social Media Management, Ongoing SEO, Content and Copywriting to name just a few.

One of our main focuses was to grow the company’s presence on LinkedIn. Using a variety of posts, including pain points, polls, short videos and blogs, we were able to increase the company’s following from 33 to 581 in just 12 months.

Another marketing focus was building the profile of the Director, Brian Clark. We worked with Brian, to create and share monthly ‘thought pieces’ onto both the website and his LinkedIn, and videos of him sharing his experiences. Allowing Brian to become the face of WorkPlan.


The biggest focus for our Creative team was to create a sense of brand consistency across the collateral and touch points, whether that was on the website, or through printed and digital assets. We worked to define a clear identity for WorkPlan and WorkPlan Learning, ensuring that all assets created one cohesive picture.

An extension of this task was to support WorkPlan in better communicating it’s service offerings. WorkPlan Learning is so much more than a Learning Management System (LMS), but the task was communicating that with an audience succinctly.

We introduced a tagline into the business ‘Learning Matters’ enabling the business to start the conversation of ‘How Learning Matters to your business’. We also created a customer journey infographic, to help visually demonstrate the journey for a business into WorkPlan Learning.


Whilst WorkPlan already had a well thought out website, they lacked direction in talking to their ideal customers. We recommended creating dedicated landing pages, that would talk directly to the pain points of a decision maker in a chosen industry, whilst also showing them exactly how WorkPlan Learning could help their business.

These pages also played a key point part in the Search Engine Optimisation strategy. Helping the business be found for specifical industry related terms.


Over the past 12 months we have allowed WorkPlan and WorkPlan Learning to make leaps and bounds in terms of how they have conversations with potential customers, and assets to support this.

It was this consistency of brand that allowed WorkPlan to attend the Not For Profit People’s Conference in February 2022. Where their stand was highly visited by conferences goers. WorkPlan Learning were able to win XX clients from this conference as a result of our marketing efforts.
