RTL Plumbing engaged Outsource to Us to manage all digital marketing activities for the company. We started with streamlining the Adwords and display account by refining keywords, designing collateral for social media and display advertising, and coaching the internal Marketing Assistant in social media strategy.

Project Progress



Outsource to Us firstly designed collateral to be used on social media and the display advertising and created a conversion optimised landing page for a 50% off call out fee campaign. We streamlined the Adwords and display advertising and reduced keywords to drive better results and more qualified leads. We also coached the internal Marketing Assistant in social media to increase engagement and clicks to the website. Newsletter templates were also designed to create touch points with past clients.


The budget for Adwords and display has decreased by a third with cost per click continuing to improve and clicks on ads continuing to increase. 43% of website traffic is coming from display ads, which is a huge improvement in just one month. Display referrals have gone from 0 to 932 and paid search has gone from 383 to 469. Sessions to the website have almost doubled, from 1045 to 2030 with 1635 of these being new users coming to the website. Most traffic to the website is coming from display and paid search and third highest is organic. This means that blogs are doing their part to direct people to the website and these should be continued in the strategy. Conversions have also increased with a total of 123 (up from 70 the previous month). This are just the first month’s results and we expect to see these continue to improve.
