Welcome to the Marketing Mix.
LinkedIn has made some exciting new changes to its platform – further improving usability and functionality on this popular platform. Here are our top five favourite updates.
⏰ You can now schedule posts!
Finally, LinkedIn has begun its rollout of on-app post scheduling. Users will now be able to schedule posts ahead of time on their preferred date and time – a major time and money saver for those who have had to use a third-party platform for this purpose until now.
💬 Automatically generated video captions.
LinkedIn will now automatically apply AI-generated captions to videos when they are uploaded. This feature removes the need to edit your own captions onto your videos – and don’t worry – it also allows users to edit the automated captions after videos are uploaded.
🔔 Newsletters now have a one-click-to-subscribe URL link.
Businesses running their newsletters through LinkedIn can encourage their customers to easily sign up for their LinkedIn-based newsletter with a direct URL link. With an embeddable button, you can easily attach the link to emails, social media, websites, or any other platform you decide to share it.
📰 You can now share what newsletters you subscribe to.
You now have the option to make newsletter subscriptions visible to others. LinkedIn’s new feature allows users to see which newsletters other users are subscribed to, helping users discover new content and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
👤 Newsletters can be added to your profile.
Newsletter creators can now also add their newsletters to their ‘Featured’ placement on their LinkedIn profiles.
