YOUR EARLY LEARNING CENTRE

Client:

Your ELC is a group of early learning centres located in Brisbane, Queensland. They pride themselves on the connections they have developed with the children and families that make up their community. Their long-term staff have the experience that makes them approachable and friendly, some of their educators have been with the group for over 12 years. As this is such a key selling point, we took this into consideration when tasked with building their website.

Overview:

The Your ELC website was a complex build as we had to include a site page for each of the Early Learning Centres. Your ELC has 5 centres based in Brisbane and the client wanted each centre to display on a separate landing page under the same domain, yourelc.com.au. Between our website developer and experienced digital marketing team, we came up with a design that would suit this particular approach.

Our Process:

  1. The first step in the process was to sit down with the client and take the time to understand the goals for the website, as well as how their customers would likely interact with the website.
  2. We then sat down with our Web Designer and brainstormed how we could best display each centre
    1. This took into consideration the multiple contact forms and news pages as each centre needed a contact form and blog feed
    2. We needed to be able to run separate digital marketing campaigns to each landing page to ensure maximum conversion
  3. After we created an initial design using Adobe XD, we were able to send the client an interactive link that shows exactly how someone would navigate through their site.
  4. We had another meeting with the client after the first round of changes to finalise fonts, imagery and colours to use during development.
  5. Our website developer then started the build, working closely with our specialised childcare marketing managers who were writing content with input from the client.
  6. The development of the site took just 6 business days and the client was up and running in time for the start of the new enrolment year.
  7. Once the website was live we then handed over the logins to the website and created a dedicated hosting environment so that the client had access to the entire project.
  8. We continue to work closely with this client, working with our content writers and in-house photographer to continue to better the website and keep it high in the search engine rankings. (View website)

BALANCE EARLY EDUCATION

Client:

Balance Early Education is a childcare centre located in Bathurst, NSW. Balance Early Education positions itself as more than an education and childcare service, it is a place to BE, BELONG AND BECOME. The centre provides a wide variety of services including the Garden-to-Gourmet Program, Nutritious meals prepared on-site daily and sustainably sourced materials. The centre believes children should have a healthy respect for, and understanding of, the world around them.

Overview:

Childcare Concepts Marketing were first approached by Balance Early Learning when the centre was still under development. As a new childcare centre, it was essential to create a website the represented the brand and it’s key messaging, but that also stood out from its competition. The website also needed to provide prospective parents key information about the centre and its service.

Our Process:

  1. Our Marketing Managers met with Balance Early Learning to ascertain their needs.
    • Balance Early Learning required a website that could be easily maintained and had easy functionality which allowed centre staff to share updates themselves.
  2. The Graphic Design team created an initial concept for the website and our Website Developer created an implementation plan.
    • This stage included making key designs, including such things as: which website platform is used (WordPress for selected for usability), what imagery is required, what content is required, any core functionality that may be required (such as the animated bee that flies around on the homepage).
  3. Our Marketing Managers then presented the concept to Balance Early Learning
  4. Once approved, our Website Developer began the build of the website.
  5. As part of the build process, Initial Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) was completed on the website to ensure the website appears on Google and could be found by potential families.
  6. The website was presented to Balance Early Learning. (view website)

Our Process:
