DIGITAL MARKETING FOR TRADIESMarketing for tradies that brings in better workGoogle★★★★★5.0Turn local searches into better-fit enquiries with practical local SEO, Google Ads, a stronger website and reliable quote follow-up.Discuss your marketing  →Tradie marketing across local search, advertising, websites and lead follow-up

Most tradies do not have a marketing problem

They have a lead quality problem. The phone rings, but half the callers want a price over the phone, a third are outside your service area, and the good jobs go to whoever showed up in the search result above you.

Outsource2Us builds the marketing that fixes that. Found in local search, credible when someone checks you out, and set up so quotes actually get followed up.

We will also tell you if a channel is not worth it for your trade. Plenty are not.

Here are the trades we work with

  • Electricians and solar
  • Plumbers and gas fitters
  • Builders and renovators
  • Concreters, landscapers and paving
  • Roofing and guttering
  • HVAC and refrigeration
  • Civil construction and earthmoving

What actually brings a tradie work

1

Google Business Profile and local search

When someone searches for an electrician near them, the map pack decides who gets called. Reviews, categories, service areas and photos drive that.

2

A website that answers the three questions

Do you do this job, do you come to my suburb, and can I trust you. Most trade sites answer none of them above the fold.

3

Google Ads on the jobs worth having

Bid on the work with margin, not on every search containing your trade.

4

Proof

Photos of your own jobs, reviews with the suburb named, before and afters.

5

Following up quotes

The cheapest lead you will ever get is the one you already quoted. Most trades never chase them.

6

Social media

Useful for trust and recruitment. Rarely the thing that makes the phone ring first.

Where AI has changed things for tradies

People now ask ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews for recommendations, and those answers pull from your website, your reviews and third-party listings. If your site does not clearly state your trade, your service areas and your qualifications in plain text, you are not in the answer.

Practically, that means licence numbers on the page, suburbs written out, services named the way customers say them, and questions answered directly. It is the same work that makes a site convert. It just matters more now.

Your Questions Answered

It depends on your average job value, your margin and how much work you need. A business chasing $800 service calls and one chasing $80,000 renovations need very different budgets. We scope it against your numbers rather than quoting a percentage of revenue.

Google Ads brings work this week and stops when you stop paying. SEO and your Google Business Profile compound and are cheaper per lead over time, but take months. Most trade businesses need ads running while the organic side builds.

Yes. The profile gets you seen. The website is where people decide whether to call. Google also uses your site to work out what you do and where.

For trust, recruitment and repeat customers, yes. As the first source of new enquiries, usually no. We would rather fix your local search before building a content calendar.

Paid ads can produce enquiries within a fortnight of going live. Local search and SEO generally take three to six months to move meaningfully. We will tell you which one your situation calls for.

Yes. We are based in Brisbane and work with businesses across Australia. Local search work does not require us to be in your suburb.

Fair question, and a common one. Two things. You get a strategy before anyone spends money, and you get reporting that shows cost per lead rather than impressions. If a channel is not working we will say so and move the budget.
